The colleagues of Microsec have participated in three events in the same breath between 8 Jun - 10 Jun in Warsaw, Poland.
On the first day, they were representing the European Federation of Qualified Trust Service Providers (EFQTSP) on the meeting of the CA/Browser Forum, where, as a guest speaker, they were introducing the goals and aims of the Federation to the meeting's participants. EFQTSP is an organization with more than 20 QTSP members that serves to represent the needs, concerns and remarks of qualified providers towards browsers, member state authorities and HSM manufacturers. The feedback on the introduction was positive.
On the 9th, most of the time was spent on the Trusted Economy Forum's presentations. From these, attribute certificates, quantum computing and the zero trust approach were among the most interesting topics.
On the last day, the flagship meeting of the European Signature Dialog (ESD) was held, which organization includes the biggest trust service providers of the EU member states. The current topics were eIDAS 2.0 and the EU Digital Identity Wallet among others. It is to note that according to the report, there was feedback about the tight cooperation and information sharing between big providers; it has even been said by a member that fresh information from Microsec helped them to get a better relationship with their supervisory bodies.
