Not so long ago, we published a post to this blog about V2X communication, where we emphasized that Microsec sets store by developing PKI solutions to secure Vehicle-to-Everything communication.
Recently, the company participated in ETSI’s C-V2X (Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything) Plugtests at DEKRA Connected Car Test Area, in Málaga, where, through test scenarios based on the ETSI ITS standards and 3GPP specifications, the participants tested the interoperability of the V2X implementations created by the vendors present; these tests included road hazard signalling, road works warning, longitudinal collision risk warning and intersection collision risk warning as well.
As for PKI solutions, on behalf of Microsec, Roland Kraudy and Gábor Monori attended the event. Since the official report is not out yet, we can not share detailed results for now (16 December 2019), but we can tell as much that the outcome was very satisfying; this is as well indicated in the event’s overall 95% success rate.
